Our double-silver award-winning halloumi is less salty and more flavoursome than most other brands. When cooked it has a soft creamy centre encased in a crunchy golden crust. It’s sometimes also called squeaky cheese due to its texture so don’t be surprised by this unusual characteristic when you first try it.

To enjoy our delicious halloumi at its best, serve it hot. Halloumi is a fresh cheese that you cook. It is from the same family as mozzarella, but it holds its shape when cooked.


It has won silver medals at the NZ Champions of Cheese Awards in 2020, 2019, and 2015.

It has also won a Silver medal at the International Cheese Awards, Nantwich, UK in 2019.
